Since the beginning of the pandemic, Doctors of Waikiki has been on the frontlines caring for locals and visitors after many clinics and doctor’s offices closed. We have always believed that by working together as one ‘ohana, we can beat this.

APRIL 2020 | First Medical Center to Offer Drive Through COVID-19 TESTING
We were the first in the state of Hawaii to offer rapid antibody Covid-19 tests.
We began our drive-through testing by offering FREE tests to Hawaii’s first responders, then essential works and soon thereafter testing was available for the general public.
JUNE 2020 | Kauai Covid-19 Testing
Dr. T and six other healthcare providers from Doctors of Waikiki tested over 200 people during a drive-through Covid-19 testing event held at the Kauai Beach Resort.

MAY 2021 | Maui Post-Arrival Testing
Doctors of Waikiki was handpicked by Mayor Victorino to conduct the post-arrival Covid-19 Testing for Maui.
After nearly a month of post arrival Covid-19 testing on Maui, Doctors of Waikiki tested over 90,000 travelers (38,000 were exempt after showing proof of vaccination).
From those tests, the positivity rate for confirmed cases of Covid-19 was very low at 0.0054%.
Of the 29 rapid antigen tests, confirmatory tests showed 5 positive results: 3 visitors and 2 returning residents.
RISK ASSESSMENT & MITIGATION CONSULTING
In May 2020, we began offering Risk Assessment and Mitigation Consulting to help our fellow Hawaii businesses and community open safely.
Our team of licensed medical practitioners helped educate business owners to do their part to protect the wellness of their staff, family members and customers and to reduce the spread of the virus.
We have helped over 150+ business owners (hotels, restaurants, retail businesses, schools, churches, travel, transportation, activities, attractions, tourism and hospitality industry, etc.).
Many of the businesses we worked with have established corporate accounts with Doctors of Waikiki. Their staff come in for regular testing or when there has been a work-related Covid-19 exposure.

TrueHero™ Extreme Coverage Face Shields were designed by Dr. T and his brother at the start of the pandemic.
Manufactured on the east coast, they are used by everyone from frontline workers to college students and keiki.
